System architecture

Technical Reliability & Security Commitments

Our billing and KOT routing engines are engineered to serve busy, high-volume food venues where uptime is critical. Restaurant operations require a system that maintains high resilience under pressure. We design our cloud components to ensure high availability, data persistence, and secure multi-tenant partitioning.

1. Strict Venue Scoping & Scoped Data Isolation

To guarantee absolute data privacy, Indostra implements role-scoped data isolation at the middleware and guard level. All incoming HTTP and WebSocket payloads are validated through our server-side guards. Staff actions are scope-restricted based on their mandatory venue assignments. If any request attempts to access or modify resource records (orders, menus, sales) outside the user's explicit venue IDs, the system intercepts the request and issues an immediate 403 Forbidden. This ensures zero data leakage across venues and shields your tenant records from privilege escalations.

2. Persistent KOT Ticket Queue

We route kitchen tickets using highly resilient WebSocket links combined with automated print buffering. If a kitchen's physical thermal printer experiences a temporary network drop or paper jam, the cloud print gateway queues the outgoing tickets. The system retains KOT tickets securely and resumes routing automatically as soon as the physical printer establishes connection, ensuring no order is lost during the shift.
